Christopher Vinck, CEO
Chris is responsible for all the Trading and Investment Banking activities at GPS. Since joining the firm in 1996, Chris has focused on developing both the fixed-income and equity trading platforms that serve the needs of GPS’s institutional clients. "The technology is changing on a weekly basis in our business", Chris says, "and it's a real battle to stay in front of it. At GPS, we have the benefit of working with some of the sharpest investors in the world. And many of the systems that we’ve put in place are a direct result of our collaborations with them.” Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California (USC) and an MBA with Honors from the Anderson School at UCLA. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 53, 55, and 63 licenses and resides in Newport Beach, California.
David Banerjee, FINOP
David has been the FINOP at Great Pacific since its founding in 1990. David began his career in Eurodollar syndication in 1977 as FINOP/VP of the First Interstate Bank Bond Department. He later became SVE/FINOP of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and holds a CPA license and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, in addition to MBA and MIM degrees. David holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 27 and 63 licenses and resides with his wife, Radhi, in Los Angeles, California.
James Voight, Head Fixed-Income Trader
Jim joined the firm in 1997 and has over 30 years of experience in fixed-income securities. He graduated from San Diego State University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting (with distinction). Prior to graduating Jim served four years in the U.S. Navy and is a service disabled veteran. After graduation, Jim was with Arthur Young & Company for over six years. He left to spend six years as a Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for various financial institutions, where he was instrumental in forming some of the first FNMA pools. He holds a CPA certificate and FINRA Series 3, 4, 7, 24, 53, 55, and 63 licenses.
Peter Kerrigan, Head Equity Trader
Pete has traded equity securities since 1989. Prior to joining Great Pacific Securities, he was a Specialist on the Pacific Stock Exchange and a NASDAQ Market Maker. He has also traded on several regional dealer desks, instituting various trading methods including Implementation Shortfall and VWAP strategies. With his focused experience in equity execution, he can capitalize on market inefficiencies to provide clients with superior execution. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Southern California. He holds Series 7, 55, 62 and 63 licenses.
